Overview
Asilah is a beautiful old town in Morocco, located at 50 km south of Tangier, a clean and well-maintained city on the Atlantic coast; its walls built by the Portuguese in the 15th century have five gates from different times. They contrast with the white and blue houses. The local population lives mainly from fishing and agriculture, but in recent years tourism has grown considerably.
