Marrakech, known as the ‘Pearl of the South’, is located at the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains. The foundation of this ancient imperial city is dated back to the 11th century. Marrakech is fascinating by its different ethnic groups, its Islamic and Arabic architecture and its colours. Visit of the Saadian tombs, BAB Agnaou, the Bahia palace, the Mellah, the souks of the Medina and the unique atmosphere of the famous Djemaa El Fna square where story tellers, healers, snake charmers and acrobats etc gather for entertainment and attract passers and visitors.
